Just THINK about this, this flag is over 100 years old and was owned by a U. WWI Veteran who was with the 321st Artillery Division, stationed in France.
Apparently the guy whose name is stitched into the flag was a good friend of his killed in action OR they were friends and he stitched the soldiers name to remember him. Whatever reason, this flag is awesome!! Approximately 35" x 57" in size!! Xcellent addition to any collection! There are a couple stains, and one of the stars has had someone hand sew a star over it on one side; rest of stars are NOT hand sewn. There is also a purple stitched name of "James Pell" on one side, a soldier drafted in WWI in 1917. NO rips or tears, just typical blemishing from being in a soldiers trunk for over 100 years!!
