Estate Vintage Rare Original WWIl WWI Blood Chit Numbered USA American Flag &

It looks like it might be a fabric, possibly silk? Not my area of expertise. But, recently acquired from an estate sale. I was told it is an original World War II Blood Chit.

But, after purchasing, I had someone else tell me possibly World War I. So, please look at all the photos and please be your own judge. It is framed and matted. Framed it measures approximately 20 inches top to bottom and approximately 17 inches across. This is measuring the outer dimensions of the frame.

The Blood Chit looks to be all original. There are some places of wear, age related wear, including some yellowing and discolorations. Not anything that, in my opinion, takes away from the character and history of it. As you will see on the back covering where it's been framed, it looks like some water type stain places on the back paper piece that was used in framing. It doesn't look to take away or effect the rare, original, vintage American Flag/Blood Chit piece. The glass looks to still be intact over the Blood Chit.
