Stamped with'Defiange', the brand name for the Annin company between 1912 and 1959. Made from cotton and double appliqued. The 48 star American national flag, made by the Annin Company in New York City. Annin is one of the oldest flag-makers in America that is still in business today.

The company was founded in the 1830's, incorporated in 1847, and was located in New York until the 1960s, when it moved to Verona, New Jersey. Lots of signs of its age as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Some staining in places and is as found condition. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior. 4 ft by 6 ft. If it is a collect in person please arrange collection within 7 days from our Retrobarn in Flamstead, Hertfordshire. The Retrobarn is open by appointment.
