Vintage Polo Ralph Lauren USA American Flag Knit Sweater. Rare Color especially for the USA American Flag sweaters. Please be advised that on top of the left side of the flag, one string of the knit has come loose. This vintage piece is a part of a couple of hundred pieces that I have left.
They have been stored away for 12-20 years, free of dust, smells, rips, stains, etc. This USA American Flag Sweater is the OG of the PRL Flag sweaters that we have today. This is one of the sweaters that started it all. This was a traditional sweater that came out only once (in the fall) every 2-3 years apart unlike todays versions that come out a couple times a year. This is a Pre-owned sweater in Excellent condition!
This has been stored away in a weatherproof sealed container for 17 years! Excellent, hardly worn condition as can be seen by the perfectly shaped neckline of the sweater and the Ribbed cuffs. As all Polo RL collectors would know, all early, great quality RL clothing was made in Hong Kong (not China) and this sweater is no exception!
